Our lives have changed dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has felt a little (and sometimes very!) overwhelming at times. Every day, we seem to be faced with new challenges, but we have to remind ourselves that ‘IT WILL BE OK.’ When we all come out of this, we will be stronger as individuals, parents, stronger as family, friends and stronger as a community. Although we are temporarily closed due to Government mandate to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER and have been praying for you, your family and our community.
In this time of social distancing and high anxiety, it can help to step back and remind ourselves of the many ways people are staying positive. It’s been AMAZING to watch the outpouring show of support, kindness and gratitude within our Rocklin, Roseville, Auburn, Loomis, Lincoln and Granite Bay communities. Seeing people offering to go grocery shopping for those who can’t, neighbors dropping off meals for those in need, some paying for the person behind them in a drive-through, and friends reaching out to friends for virtual workouts and playdates. And, our Churches having online services to keep us connected!
Just remember: No matter what we may be going through, we’re all in it together. We all live on the same planet, We all breathe the same air. Jesus said we would have troubles in this life. But he gave us His Spirit, and he gave us each other. ‘IT WILL BE OK.’
What acts of kindness and moments of beauty have you seen and felt during this time? Please take this time to recharge, regroup and refocus on what is important – people and relationships. Please stay safe and stay inside! We miss you all and are sending you virtual hugs!
