Ray Turnure, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Turnure received his medical degree and did his residency training at Loma Linda University in Southern California. He also served as Chief Resident while completing his residency in Family Medicine.

Before starting Turnure Medical Group he worked as an Associate Clinical Professor at the UC Davis/Sutter Residency Program. He is double boarded in both Family and Obesity Medicine.

In addition to the broad spectrum of Family Medicine, Dr. Turnure is actively involved in researching the most effective techniques and modalities available in cosmetic medicine, medical weight loss and nutrition. His love for education always finds him continuing to learn new treatments in the field. 

Dr. Turnure enjoys spending time outdoors with his daughters, grandchildren and wife. He enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, snow skiing and is passionate about running. He completed his first marathon in 2012. He and Mrs. Turnure are also involved in leadership as marriage mentors.
