What Areas Can be Treated by CoolSculpting^®

CoolSculpting^® Elite, is the next generation fat reduction system with applicators designed to complement the body’s natural curves.

CoolSculpting^® Elite harnesses proven CoolSculpting^® technology to target, freeze, and eliminate treated fat cells. CoolSculpting^® Elite is FDA cleared to treat visible fat bulges in nine areas of the body, more than any other nonsurgical fat reduction technology. These areas include the thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), upper arm, and the submental and submandibular areas. Although not FDA cleared in other areas, since the applicators is small, there are other areas such as under the knees that we may be able to treat.

The CoolFit Applicator features a flat vacuum applicator cup and 38% percent larger cooling plates than the other vacuum applicators. This allows physicians to treat longer, harder to reach areas such as the inner thigh. As a part of the clinical study submitted to the FDA, 84% of patients noticed visible fat reduction after just one treatment and 93% of patients were satisfied with their results. In addition, 90% of patients would repeat the procedure.

Cool Mini Applicator for the Double Chin

The Cool Mini Applicator is now FDA cleared to treat submental fullness, otherwise known as the double chin. The applicator is placed under the chin while attached to the vacuum suction. It gradually freezes the targeted fat during the 60-minute session. It may take several treatments to gain the desired results, but a lot of patients see results in only a few sessions. The fat cells in the targeted area are gone for good, which yes, is great, but keeping a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise is essential as weight gain in areas next to the treated area can cause a disproportional look in that area.
